Show 11

Our 11th show was held in the Durbanville Town Hall on 10 December 2011.

Once again we shared the hall with CASA. The CASA show commenced once the AICA show was completed.

We were privileged to have exhibitors from the Eastern Cape and Gauteng and WCF judges from Gauteng, the Eastern Cape and Western Cape.

This time of the year is the ideal show for babies and litters and we were not disappointed.   The longhairs did well, despite the hot weather and our Best Overall was indeed a Semi-longhair.   Congratulations Jean and Ivo.

Best Cat litter once again supported us very well with litter as prizes for our winners and Hills was there, as usual to support our winners and a representative at their tables.   Without these sponsors our shows would be a drab affair.

It was a happy and successfull show with a Christmas atmosphere.   May there be many more.

Show 12

Our 12th show was once again held in the Durbanville Town Hall. This was on 5 May 2012.

We shared the hall with CASA again, as this has been proven to be a great concept.
The CASA show commenced once the AICA show was
completed.

We were privileged to have a judge and head steward form the Eastern Cape and a SACC guest judge.

There were several litters on show and what a pleasure to see the future of the cat fancy, in the form of these babies and also a few young exhibitors, following in their parents' footsteps.

The new South African National Titles were introduced for the first time at this show and were very popular, with quite a few cats returning to the show bench and gaining new titles.

Best Cat litter once again did not disappoint with their generous prizes for the winners and Hills did the same. Once again there was a Hills representative.

Our thirteenth show was held at the Black Eagle Conference centre, a popular and successfull venue in Roodepoort, Gauteng. The show hall was shared with the Capital Cat Club, a WCF sub-club of CASA. Many new exhibitors and exhibits were present and despite the cold, the show was enjoyed by all in the cosy and warm atmosphere of the African-themed venue. Brenda Neukircher was an excellent and efficient show manager and the show ended well within the planned time.

Hills provided the prizes and was as generous as always. CFSA, SACC and WCF were well represented by exhibits, exhibitors and judges alike.

May there be many more successful collaborations to follow.

Show 14

Our 14th show took place over two days at the Kirkwood Wildsfees in the Eastern Cape.   These were really two separate shows, with different Best in Shows.   The venue was shared with the Eastern Cape Cat Club, who held their show on the Saturday after our first show and on the Sunday before our second show. We had exhibitors from the Western- & Eastern Cape Provinces and judges from the Western-, Eastern-, KZN & Gauteng Provinces.   Judges and exhibitors represented CFSA, SACC and WCF.
This was once again a unique experience, enjoyed by all and truly integrated with the activities of the festival, including the deligtful eats, drinks, huge variety of stalls and cultural activities.   The venue was on the festival grounds this year.
A huge thank you to our friends of the ECCC, who accommodated us so well and made us all feel welcome.

Hills and Cats Best provided the wonderful prizes handed out  to all the winners by the current President, Gernes Lamprecht - thanks again for supporting AICA in this way!
