Show 16Our 16th show was held on 13 October 2012 at the Pro Arte School in Pretoria. This great school is set in lovely grounds and we were met with a great collection of art in the foyer, before entering the hall. The streets in this tranquil suburb were lined with Jacaranda trees in full bloom, adding to the lovely relaxed atmosphere of the show. Brenda Neukircher did a wonderful job as show show manager.
Exhibits represented mostly the Gauteng province, but some came as far the Kwazulu-Natal Province. We were fortunate to have judges from various Provinces, representing all three Licensing organisations in South Africa. The AICA show was followed by the Capital Cat Club, WCF show in the same hall. Once again we managed to have different judges at the two shows. This gave the opportunity for different opinions and different winners at the shows. There was support from the local exhibitors and many helpers and this helped to make the show was a great success. Many title changes were effected during this show, including several new National and International titles, with more than one cat who started their show career in Europe. Thanks, once again to Hills, who sponsored the prizes. |
