Show 20Show nr 18 was held on 11 May 2013 at the Dalmein Shellhole, Escome, KZN. This is a new venue. The show was followed by a CASA show later in the day, in the same hall. Both shows were a great success, although we had only a few visitors due to the atypical rainy weather, which kept most people at home during the weekend.
We had judges and exhibits from KZN and Gauteng and the show was well supported with an impressive diversity of breeds in all categories. Our judges were from CFSA, SACC and WCF. Many cats were awarded titles and the new Kitten and Junior title certificates were also awarded for the first time in KZN. Thanks to Hills, who sponsored the prizes and to Nicole who was present throughout the day. "The banana bunch" once again did a great job in booking the hall, setting up, carting sponsorship food, doing the catering, securing sponsorship for the catering and cleaning up, breaking downe, etc. etc. Without the assistance of the local enthusiasts, the show would simply not be possible. Thanks to all of those assisting without formally being on a committee. |
