Show 46Our 46th show was once again associated with a SACC show by our friends from the Northern Cape/Free State Cat Club. It took place at the St Patrick's College in Kimberley on Saturday 3 June 2017. It was a joint show with the OSRBG & SACATS clubs.
This year the weather was lovely and the hospitality of our Northern Cape friends was as good as always. It is always a pleasure to renew friendships with visiting and local exhibitors and share a lovely weekend in the company of like-minded people. Thank you to Suzette van den Berg for sponsoring the free accommodation for our show team at her guest cottages. Thank you to Wendy and the committee for doing all the hard work with arranging the venue, etc. We were privileged to have judges from SACC and WCF. The Overall Best was seclected by all the allbreeds judges present. Hills generously sponsored the prizes. It was exciting to have a number of Lykoi on show, very shortly after their recognition for Championship by TICA. All the Lykoi on show received their titles, making our Independent clubs very proud to be at the forefront of promoting this wonderful breed. |
